This past weekend, a bunch of Costa Mesa members went to San Jose to compete in the Annual North South Tournament.

A. Dong won 3rd place in Women's Shodan and below division.

Congratulations to her.

Also, while in San Jose, San Jose Kendo Dojo graciously hosted our members at one of their practices. Below is a Thank You letter that we sent to them.

Dear San Jose Kendo Dojo,

Costa Mesa Kendo Dojo would like to thank you for inviting us to keiko on Friday, April 17, 2009 and for your generous hospitality. We have gained more keiko experience and have all learned a lot practicing with your dojo. We really enjoyed the keiko and the wonderful food and sites of the San Jose and San Francisco We look forward to seeing you all again at next year's 52nd North/South Tournament. area.
